zJ.C. Higgins Model 50 Centerfire Rifle- 30/06 Springfield

Low 5 digit serialized rifle with 22” barrel; sharp rifling and throat. FN Mauser action, made in Belgium. Round count unknown. Magazine capacity is 5 rounds. Bumped around a bit through hunting and handling. Original front and rear sight still intact.

Bluing is 70% with bluing faded/ worn on the barrel and muzzle. See photos for details.

Wood is 80% and typical of a hunting rifle with minor bumps and carries the original butt plate. Stock has original finish. Neither the tang or recoil lug is cracked. There is a hair line crack between the magazine box and trigger, easily repaired and invisible with rifle assembled. Sling swivel studs included.

Scope is a Tasco 3-9x, World Class w/ 40mm objective mounted in Weaver bases and Detachable See Through rings. Scope and mounts can be separated from the rifle, resulting in a $45 discount.
