Remington 722- .300 Savage- 24 inch barrel

This Remington 722 is ready for your favorite scope and mounts. It begs to tag along on your next hunting trip.

Low 6 digit (213XXX) serialized rifle with 24” barrel; sharp rifling and throat. Magazine capacity is 4 rounds. Floorplate still retains 90% of the original bluing. Original butt plate installed. The rifle is currently topped with iron sights, the rear sight is a folding version.

Bluing is approximately 90%. See photos for details.

Wood is 80%. No cracks in tang or recoil lug, although there is a short surface crack running aft from the trigger guard. Rifle has never been drilled for sling swivel studs. Does NOT appear to be re-finished as there is no drips, runs, or varnish residue on the butt plate.

The rifle has been disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated with light gun oil. The bore has been cleaned of powder and copper fouling to enable the borescope inspection we give all our rifles. The rifle has been function checked and re-assembled with the proper torque of the guard screws.
