Winchester Model 70 XTR Featherweight Bolt Action Rifle- .257 Roberts

This rifle was manufactured in New Haven, CT. The condition is so flawless that the only thing keeping it from being labeled NEW is the bolt face. The bore has been inspected and photographed, and there are no signs of this rifle having been fired. Borescope photos of throat available upon request. Complete borescope report with photos available for $85, with or without sale. The bluing and stock finish are in 98% condition. The technical specifications are as follows:

• Magazine capacity- 5 rounds with hinged floor plate
• Barrel Length- 22 inches with no sights
• Stock- Walnut with classic Schnabel fore end and fleur-de-lis checkering, sling swivel studs, butt pad, recoil cross bolt, and pistol grip cap
• Action- Forged receiver including anti- bind bolt and 3 position safety. Drilled and tapped for scope
• Weight- 6 ½ lbs.

Priced to sell to the discriminating buyer who appreciates the fine walnut and workmanship exhibited by these rifles. Retains the “Winchester Repeating Arms” butt pad of the early models before the USRAC transition. Serial Number G152XXXX indicates 1980-81 manufacture date.
